DUCK WITH FLOWER

These cuties were made in the early 1970's and are onl available without feet. These ducks can be found with many color combinations of its flower, beak, and head. I do not know if you can tell the difference in color of these two here, but one blue is darker than the other and the face on one appears white while the other one is creamish colored.

I want to find some different colored headed ducks becasue they say the yellow, black, or orange colored heads are more rare, which makes them more valuable!

PIG (WHISTLE) or PIG MMM

PIG WHISTLE PEZ aka MERRY MUSIC MAKER PIG

I believe these were made in the 1980's. You will find them with and without feet. I only own the non-footed version at this time. I searched high and low for this one due to a friend of mine.

Wanda Gingras and I did a fundraiser for MDA and if I beat her, the proze would be that I could own her Pig Pez that she had in storage. Well, the whole fundraiser was placed around this prize. Even the MDA People had a banner made that read, "Who Will Win The Pig Pez?" Well I did win!!! And when Wanda had to produce the Pig Pez, she said she could not find it, but swears she has one. LOL!!! So I had to go out and find one that I could afford to represent this great time with Wanda! And even though it is not her Pez from her Attic, it still makes me smile! :)

BARKINA PEZ

BARKINA PEZ

In 2009, the Animal Welfare League's Western Suburbs Branch in Autralia created this Pez dispenser called "BARKINA." This Pez was not released or sold in the USA and are not packaged in traditional Pez wrappings; they were sold "loose" and without candy.

BARKINA has a dark red glitter head, pink lips, light brown eyes, brown eyelashes and printing on the stem - "Black Saturday" and "paws" printed on the front and a "Memorial yellow ribbon and date" printed on side. There were only 1000 pieces made..., 250 each of 4 different colored print versions; White, Black, Silver, and Gold. These Pez dispensers were released in honor of ALL the animals that have been affected by the BLACK SATURDAY bushfires that devestated Victoria Australia in Feb 2009. All profits on the "original" sales of this Pez Dispenser went to several different Rescue and Wildlife Organizations in Australia to help with the ongoing care of the bushfire animals.

I need to get a silver Barkina to complete my set!

This pez was made in the mid-1960's. Many versions of this Pez have been made over the years. Current versions of the Boy have been made and can be found with feet.
A rare brown haired Boy (without a hat) Pez was once produced in the 1980's to promote the movie "Stand By Me." This dispenser was placed in special packaging that consisting of a pack of multi-flavored Pez Candy and a miniature movie poster announcing the availability of the movie on video and the famous quote from the movie, "If I could only have one food to eat for the rest of my life? That's easy, PEZ. Cherry flavored PEZ. No question about it."
I have the special "Stand By Me" Pez in my collection and will showcase it separately in a future Pez Blog!
